1. Eligibility & Responsibility
Guests must be 18 years or older to enter into a booking agreement. Guests booking on behalf of minors confirm that they are authorised to share required information and to accept responsibility for the conduct and safety of all passengers in their party.
2. Booking Process & Payment
- Reservations are confirmed only when the required deposit or full payment is received and verified.
- Pricing is listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise stated, and may be adjusted for foreign currency exchange rates or taxes imposed by authorities.
- Special promotions or group arrangements must be agreed upon in writing.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that plans can change. The following policy applies unless a customised agreement is provided:
High Season (December–March)
- Cancellations 15+ days before departure: eligible for refund (30% deposit non‑refundable). Bank charges and currency exchange rate differences will be deducted from the refunded amount.
- Cancellations less than 15 days before departure: deposit forfeited; additional penalties may apply.
Low Season
- Cancellations 5+ days before departure: eligible for refund (30% deposit non‑refundable). Bank charges and currency exchange rate differences will be deducted from the refunded amount.
- Cancellations within 5 days of departure: deposit forfeited; possible extra charges.
- No‑Shows: 100% charge applies; no refunds.
- Trips cancelled by the operator due to weather or safety concerns will be fully refunded or rescheduled.
4. Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to follow all safety briefings, respect crew instructions, and behave responsibly towards marine life, fellow passengers, and equipment. Cartier Cascade reserves the right to refuse service to guests under the influence of alcohol or substances that compromise safety.
5. Health & Safety
Guests must disclose relevant medical conditions or mobility restrictions before departure. Cartier Cascade may modify or cancel activities if conditions pose safety risks due to weather, sea state, or regulatory advisories. Passengers should bring prescribed medication and sun protection.
6. Liability
Cartier Cascade maintains insurance consistent with industry standards. However, participation in marine activities carries inherent risks. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not responsible for personal property loss or damage unless caused by proven negligence.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including imagery, branding, and itineraries, remains the property of Cartier Cascade Concierge Global or its licensors. Reproduction or redistribution is prohibited without written consent.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes should first be addressed through Cartier Cascade’s guest relations team. If unresolved, parties agree to seek mediation or arbitration in Colombo before pursuing court action.
